To appreciate how nice these wheels look, especially compared to the usual bro-trucky, star-centered, atrocities that are found on 95% of trucks today? Also, black trim is 10,000,000x better than chrome. I give this concept vehicle an 8/10.
Get rid of the weird white grill accents (or maybe paint them body color), drop the logo on the rim (the center cap logo is fine) and you’ve got one hell of a looker. Oh... And ditch the stupid name. Hmm... F150 ST?
But what do I know. My car is about as far from a big truck as one can get

Aren’t the white grille accents the signature of RTR stuff?
And instead of ST, just make it another Lightning. Honestly I’m shocked Ford hasn’t yet announced a Lightning successor; single cab, summer tires on like 22" wheels, Raptor engine, RWD. Done.

I need those! I’m trying to slowly de-chrome my truck

Agree. Good taste. Here’s my Ridgeline that I sold a few years back.

Totally agree. I think the whole thing looks great.

I love it. I’ve always wondered how they would have looked with round wheel arches. Why did you sell?

Me too. I bet they could save money selling it as an f150 trim level... Funny thing is a lowered full size truck would end up being much better for actual truck stuff too! I’m six feet tall and I have to use a little stepstool to put ladders on and off of a friend’s fairly new F150

I spent about five minutes scrolling through all the wheels offered by RTR and unfortunately these ones are nowhere to be found.
That said, I found a few others that I think might work for you.

Don’t like how think those spokes are for something with 600 hp and does “flying” (giant eyeroll). But they do look better than most wheels.

“flying” straight into the the repair shop for busted shocks.
Can’t seem to find any info on the wheel, at least not via RTR’s site. I’d trust a thinner spoke wheel made by certain companies involved with racing to hold up just fine with higher power/weight applications... But who knows where this comes from.
Did you ever end up getting new wheels?

According to this they’re RTR Tech 6 wheels.
I decided to try to find some non-brodozer truck wheels, but that was too hard, so here are some fidget spinner brozoder wheels .

If you absolutely had to go full bro-truck, wheels that look like a bike chain would at least be more interesting than most

Oh, sure, bike chain, likely story.
(Also I just learned that if you google ‘fidget spinner’ you get an online fidget spinner. Way to go, google.)

I had the exact same thought when I read the article. It is not easy to find tasteful wheels for a full-size truck.
But now that you have highlighted that picture... what the hell happened to that fender flare? They just decided that ending it in the middle of a body panel was a good idea?

Sold the Ridgeline to buy an E90 M3, which was my dream car at the time. Wife came with an Xterra (still have) so the Ridge was kinda redundant. But now that we have two kids, I miss it! Say what you want about Ridgelines, but they are better than M cars if the job is taking small children safely through inclement weather.

The truck looks nice, but a muscle truck usually doesn’t have long-travel suspension, and an off roader usually has a small lift and bigger tires. So I’m not really sure what this is supposed to be.

I like this a lot but I am a machinist so that might have something to do with that.
